“I went to sleep and woke up and did not care nothing about him the next day”, said comedienne and actress Ms. Pat. While on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast “Club Shay Shay”, Ms.Pat discusses her toxic relationship with her ex-boyfriend and how this heartfelt prayer released her from the ungodly ties of that relationship.
On the podcast, Ms.Pat takes us on a crazy ride of her life from the abusive relationship from her mother, to the funny stories as a drug dealer, and having an Emmy-nominated sitcom on BET+ entitled “The Ms.Pat Show”.
One of the main interesting parts of the whole interview was her stories about being in this toxic relationship with her ex-boyfriend, who eventually became the father of two of her children. She mentions mental and physical abuse from him, and how her tolerance for it had to deal with her abusive relationship with her mother.
Well, Ms.Pat got sick and tired of being sick and tired! She entails this prayer she spoke to God one day. She states:
“Lord, I’m not asking you to change him. I’m asking you to change me. I don’t want to hate him, but the love that I have and the desire that I have for this man – I ask you to remove it, because it’s no longer healthy for me”.
She goes on further to explain how her ex tried to have sexual relations with her the day after the prayer, and she said she felt NOTHING!
She said that same week, she met her husband.
This testimony shows how prayer can activate deliverance from God and restore you with his mark of restoration – speed! Pray that toxicity away! Pray all troubles in your life away! I also found Ms.Pat’s prayer to be so humble, because she asked God not to hate him. That being said, when you pray, speak a prayer that resembles God’s character. You were already created in His image, so I know you can speak like Him as well. Kneel before your Lord and just PRAY IT AWAY!
Let this testimony of Ms.Pat be a blessing upon your life and a key for God to deliver you out of any toxic relationships and restore your life with voices of bridegrooms and good speed!

Do you ever wonder how to pray? How is prayer done? Well, I believe it’s only right to start off with instructions of prayer.
Now, let me say that you can pray however you may feel or whatever is in your heart to speak to God. God is all-knowing! He knew what you were going to pray about before you even decided to pray.
Why pray, then?
Personally, I believe we pray because we want to build a more intimate relationship with God, which leads us to consistent prayer for not just ourselves but for others as well. Basically, prayer keeps the connection between you and God, as well as knowing more about him.
But there are factors of prayer that I feel are important to speak when praying to God. These factors include posture, time, purpose, repentance and forgiveness, and declaration.
One factor is posture. I feel it’s important to show reverence to God when in prayer, so kneeling before Him, with your head bowed is the most common posture. Some people lay on the floor, or simply pray while doing chores or excersing. I feel it really depends on how you feel. You don’t want to get so routined with your prayer life to where it becomes ingenuine and rushed.
This leads to the second factor of prayer which is time. Most of the time, I pray three times a day, one prayer in the morning l, another after bible study, and the last one at night. It depends on your daily life. Before I go to sleep, I pray around 11:30 P.M, because I’ve heard that midnight is the most effective time to pray. Since my prayers tend to last 30 minutes or more, I pray 30 minutes before midnight. Sometimes I feel from the Holy Spirit that it is important to speak a prayer at a specific time. One day, the Holy Spirit communicated to me to say this prayer at midnight. It just really depends on what you feel in your heart and that’s why I love to pray because you are led by the Spirit of God.
After you’re in gear to pray, you want to greet God and acknowledge yourself to Him and tell Him the purpose of your prayer. Show God that you honor Him and his presence in your life. Yes, he knows you but you still want to show him respect as you pray before Him. Then, it is very important that you give thanks to Him and what he has done for your life and those to come in the future. God is our Father in Heaven. We were made in His image, so it’s only right that we give him a thanksgiving of praise upon His throne. Afterwards, you go into things you want to pray about to God.
Repentance is another key factor to prayer. You have to repent! Confess your sins and repent, so God can forgive you. It really shows your transparency with God. This will lead to a more intimate relationship with God and He will deliver you.
After repentance and forgiveness of God, you all need to pray for separation from evil. First, you break all ungodly soul ties from any sins, iniquities, and evil deeds. Then, you take away all legal rights and access from evil powers that has come against your life and bloodline. Next, you want to renounce and come out of agreement with them. Then, you denounce from them. Finally, you divorce.from all the evils of your life and bloodline. The devil is working, so you want to make sure you are not connected to him and his evil spirits at ALL!
Lastly, you finalize your prayer with declaring God has full dominion over your life and bloodline. Then, you ask for a clean slate by the New Covenant promised by God. You declare this prayer is sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ and God has remission and pretermission of all your sins, iniquities, and evil deeds. Come out of prayer and COMMAND, DECREE, AND INSIST those prayers comes to physical manifestation. AMEN!
Here is an example:
Lord, I come before you as the repairer of the breach of my life and bloodline. So Lord, WE come before you as your sons and daughters. Lord, we ask that the heavens and earth record this day and this prayer as it pertains to the natural world, the spiritual world, and our dream world, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we open this prayer with the password “Thank you”. Lord, we thank you for breathing life unto us to live another day and we pray that you continue, Lord. Lord, we thank you for prayer and the Word of God. We pray that we will apply it to our lives and act upon them, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for all the messengers here on Earth that has taught us how to study and pray the Word of God, as well as the preachers, the missionaries, the ministries, and our destiny helpers. Lord, we pray that you will bless them double blessings, in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank you for answering us as we call upon your name and reveal great and mighty things we don’t know of and we pray that you continue to answer us and reveal those great and mighty things we don’t know of. Lord, we thank you for letting us seek you for success and just to seek you, in the name of Jesus. We pray that you continue to let us seek you, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for reverting our attention back to you, Lord. When we were lost, you found us again and we pray that you will continue to revert our attention if we ever stray away from you, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for placing that stronghold upon us as we feel the glory of the Lord and we pray that you will continue to place that stronghold upon us, so we can feel the glory of the Lord, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for being our rock, our fortress, our shepherd, and our protector, encompassing our households with the fire of God to protect us from the evil powers of the world. We pray you will continue to protect us from the evil powers of the world. Lord, we thank you being our peace, making us one, and breaking down all middle wall of partition between us and we just pray that you continue, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you for instilling humility and the fear of the Lord in our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls so we are granted riches, honor, and life. Lord, we pray that we will continue to walk with humility and fear of the Lord. Lord, we thank you for loving us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God (3x). Nor life, nor death, nor angel, nor principality, nor power, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creatures, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God. Nothing can seperate us from the faithfulness of God, from the blessings of God, from the justice of God, from the mercy of God, from the instruction of God, from the discipline of God, from the protection of God, and from the forgiveness of God. Lord, we pray you will forgive us for all our sins, iniquities, and evil deeds. We didn’t know, Lord. We confess and repent for all sins, iniquities, and evil deeds we have committed. Lord, we pray that you release them to the freedom of our forgiveness. Lord, we pray that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses and sanitizes us from all sins, iniquities, and evil deeds and throw them into the abyss as we are resurrected into new life. Lord, we pray that all sins, iniquities, and evils have been broken of all ungodly soul ties, taken away all legal rights and access from all powers of the Kingdom of Darkness, we have renounced and come out of agreement with them, denounced from them, and divorced from them and declare that you have full dominion over my life and my bloodline, in the name of Jesus. From the New Covenant you have promised us, which includes the blood of Jesus Christ purifying us from all our sins, iniquities, and evil deeds and resurrecting us into new life, as well as being justified of our sins and saved by the wrath of God, and writing the Word of God in our hearts and minds. Therefore Lord, we ask for a clean slate and we ask this prayer be sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray you have remission and pretermission over all our sins, iniquities, and evil deeds, in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
Once you get out of prayer, do the same thing, just COMMAND, DECREE, AND INSIST those things you just prayed for to come to its physical manifestation!
